Making Barrier-Free Environments the Norm

The Place To Be

Children need a strong foundation and a supplemental support system for a successful life. We are that support system. If you're a parent/guardian who needs help with childcare, turn to Lending a Hand to the Future. Our children's and parent's advocacy center offers tutoring after-school and summer programs for school-age children in Lower Westchester, New York.

Since 1998, our all-inclusive and barrier-free program has accommodated inner-city youth and children with special needs. We provide tutoring, homework help, and child advocacy in a loving and caring environment. Our staff takes great pride in what we do and the services we provide to all of our program participants. We look forward to working with you and your child as we lend a hand to the future together!

About Us

The family owned center is run by three generations of people who care about our future.

Lending a Hand to the Future originally started with simply doing things on holidays for the children from shelters or group homes in the community, and it has  blossomed into our life's work.

Now, we deliver a very important message on a daily basis. It's a message that lets all the participants know they are each special in their own right. They each have individual talents and gifts with which they were born to help them attain success.

Our founders pride themselves on creating great partnerships with the parents and guardians so that they can work together to help all participants excel in academic studies, positive social interaction with their peers, all while working to build or strenghen their sense of self. They are key factors to success and something no child will leave Lending a Hand to the Future without.
